Notes for Schools
	A number of features have been added to the product with Schools and Colleges in mind as follows:
The ability to ensure all pupils may take the same test if required (exactly the same questions in the same order). The ability to allow a retake with identical questions presented, if required. The ability to allow students to take randomly generated tests if required, in which case, no two students will be presented with exactly the same batch of questions. The ability to pause a test and return to it later in order to fit in with class routines and access to a computer suite. Data is secure if access to the internet is accidentally terminated.
	Full instructions on how to use these features are included in the relevant guidance notes and help screens.
	The suggested procedure for implementing the tests in a school would be as follows:
Teacher or assigned person registers as the Member. The Member registers each student using their unique reference name, such as School roll number. Pupils take the tests as required and over the appropriate timescales. The tests can be paused for return later or, if appropriate, the test can be used as a mock exam under test conditions. The test results are returned by email to the registered Member (please note, only the Member). This is in the form of a separate email for each student. While the option exists to print the emails, the preferable option would be to forward each email to the students' School email address. The student can study their result by reviewing the email feedback. The feedback will include the correct answer and tips for those questions answered incorrectly. By clicking on a link within the email, students may study the question again and/or review the entire test as originally presented.
	Blake-Hammond Education hopes that the Online Test Service will be of great benefit by freeing teachers' valuable time to focus on students’ areas of difficulty identified by the self-marking system.
	Blake-Hammond Education will collaborate with Schools as appropriate to ensure the success of this service and will welcome suggestions from Schools.
	It is hoped that the free sample test and associated information will contain sufficient information for a reasonable assessment of this product. Teachers wishing to receive email feedback from the sample or indeed the actual product in order to study the tips and marking scheme should simply complete the test with the questions unanswered, remembering to click the ‘End Test’ button.
